Dr. Chandrashekar B Chiniwal finished his MBBS under graduation in 1998 from KLE"S JAWAHARLAL NEHRU Medical College, BELGAUM. Dr. Chandrashekar B Chiniwal selected VIJAYNAGAR INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE(VIMS) Medical College for his post-graduation study in orthopedic branch. The college had Karnataka's once largest hospital - civil hospital. The colllege got a lot number of trauma and orthopaedic surgery exposure as the department was innovative & pioneering in the reconstructive work. Dr. Chandrashekar B Chiniwal awarded the postgraduate degree in 2000. During post graduation he was invited to GANGA Hospital, Coimbatore for Johnson & Johnson WOC SPINE surgery fellowship where Dr. S.Rajashekaran taught the important steps for successful spine surgeries. Dr. Chandrashekar B Chiniwall was appointed as an senior registrar in IORAS,MADURAI, in the same department from where he did his post-graduation (DIPLOMATE OF NATIONAL BOARD)and worked for joint replacement. In the year 2002 National board examination,New Delhi awarded me Gold medal for all india level for scoring highest marks in DNB Examinations.The award was presented and given by Late.Sri Abdul Kalam who was then president of India.I was extremely honoured to receive the gold medal from him in Cochin DNB Convacation. Dr. Chandrashekar B Chiniwal joined a well-known CONSULTANT ORTHOPAEDICIAN,SAINT JOSEPH HOSITAL,DINDIGAL,in the year 2003 where he started his career as a TRAUMA surgeon & gained excellent trust of the local community. In the year 12th Feb 2005,Dr. Chandrashekar B Chiniwal opened the Trauma and orthopaedic speciality hospital at Gangavathi for further development in the Trauma and reconstructive surgery. After extensive experience of the work for 10 years he established his own centre for joint replacement work at CIOT Hospital. At present he is working at his own fully equipped & loaded with high tech medical equipments "KBCIOT Orthopedic Hospital & Joint Replacement Center". His dedicated work at this center helped him to develop a large number of TRAUMA,JOINT REPLACEMENT AND SPINE surgeries. In the year 2002 Dr. Chandrashekar B Chiniwal was WORKED AS Senoir registrar in the dept. of Orthopaedic in MANIPAL HOSPITAL,OLD AIRPORT,BANGALORE under Dr.K.Srinivasan, Dr.K.M.K.Verma, Dr.Raj Chakraborthy, Dr.Sharan S Patil,they taught me the fine tricks to make Trauma and joint Replacement work absolutely perfect & precise.
