Dr. Viral Patel finished his MBBS under graduation in 1998 from Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad. Dr. Viral Patel selected B. J. Medical College for his post-graduation study in orthopedic branch. The college had Asia's once largest hospital - civil hospital. He got a lot number of joint replacement surgery exposure as the department was innovative & pioneering in the joint replacement work. Dr. Viral Patel awarded the postgraduate degree in 2000. During post graduation he was invited to Hinduja Hospital, Bombay for Johnson & Johnson joint replacement surgery fellowship where Dr. Sanjay Agarvala taught the important steps for successful joint replacement surgeries. Dr. Viral Patel joined a well-known S.R.S. Trust Hospital at vijapur where he started his career as a joint replacement surgeon & gained excellent trust of the local community. Dr. Viral Patel was appointed as an assistant professor in B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad in the same department from where he did his post-graduation and worked for joint replacement. Dr. Viral Patel joined a multispecialty hospital at kalol for further development in the joint replacement surgery. After extensive experience of the work for 3 years he established his own centre for joint replacement work at Nava Vadaj, Ahmedabad. At present he is working at his own fully equipped & loaded with high tech medical equipments "Maruti Orthopedic Hospital & Joint Replacement Center". His dedicated work at this center helped him to develop a large number of joint surgeries. Dr. Viral Patel was invited to Germany in a center - St. VincentiusKliniken where international joint replacement surgeon Dr. Prof. P. Schuler & Dr. Udo Malzer taught him the fine tricks to make knee replacement work absolutely perfect & precise. Being a member of American Academy of Orthopedic surgeons (AAOS), he was invited to USA by AAOS to attend the world's biggest orthopedic conference at San Francisco to learn latest updates of the knee replacement work. Dr. Viral Patel also went to National Health University, Singapore & studied the mini-invasive knee replacement technique and started performing such type of Knee Replacement Surgery. Dr. Viral Patel is the pioneer & 1st joint replacement expert for developing the uncemented KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERIES at Gujarat.
